At the event, we have information stalls from local services working with autistic adults and autistic children. We also have guest speakers and creative content made by autistic people on display.

It is free to attend and you do not need to book a place in order to come along.

History

This event first started life as Bigger and Better in Leeds. It was first held in 2015 at the Leeds City Museum. Between 2016 and 2019, it was held at the Leeds Civic Hall.

It was put on hold for 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the event was back for 2022 and renamed the Leeds Autism Show. That event was held at KPMG’s office in Leeds City Centre.

From 2023 onwards, our event is now known as AutistiCon: A Leeds Autism Event. The name was chosen after we conducted a survey, asking the people of Leeds for their feedback about how it should be run.
